EGRVALVES by DELPHI
Product Description
The EGR valve or Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve, is a vacuum controlled valve which allows a specific amount of a car’s exhaust back into the intake manifold. The exhaust mixes with the intake air and actually cools the combustion process. The EGR valve helps a car more efficiently and completely burn fuel by re-circulating a portion of its exhaust and running it through the combustion process again. This results in a cooler, more complete burn of the fuel which decreases a car's noxious emissions by prohibiting the formation of some harmful gases. Because the EGR valve is important in controlling the formation of Nitrogen related gases, it is vital to the car’s exhaust system as it controls the emissions of NOX gases.
